Extreme performance screws

I have used optimaxx for a number of years now Switched over from spax after a trade show. Cannot say I have ever looked back.

Easy start in the majority of materials. The milling around the head pulls in neatly leaving a good sink with little pull out of material. Good corrosion resistance also, having been back to a job after a year for alterations and the screws looking little different from when they were put in is quite a nice surprise.

The decking range we have had a lot of use from also and they have all been brilliant.

Tested a box of these. Usually buy Bullet screws but these are just as good if not better. Fantastic biting tip goes straight into wood without needing a pilot hole. No splitting and no cam out even when using a high speed impact driver. Sharp tip is great for screwing, not so great for ripping y pockets. My local TP have even got a huge display of these over the Bullets now. Some good deals to be had with multipacks and sorting boxes. This is my new go to screw.

These screws are superb, much better than many Gold screws I've tried. They have a wicked point and super-sharp threads that cut straight into timber, and even thermal brick, without any difficulty. Watch your fingers when grabbing a handful though!!
